Experience in Motorsports

With over 95 years of experience in the car racing industry starting out with a 1930's BMW 3/15 Wartburg in the 750 cc sports car class at the Eifel race, BMW would begin to hone its motorsport muscles. BMW quickly evolved even further by the end of the 30's to produce the BMW 328 the most successful racing car in the 2-liter class. With continued careful planning BMW would grow further in motorsports and sought out the very talented German, Freilassing Schnitzer brothers, Joseph, Herbert and eventually Karl "Charly" to start BMW's very own factory backed, works racing team that would go on to win more races in a BMW works race car than any other BMW team in the world, known in 1963 as BMW works team Schnitzer. BMW Team Schnitzer racked up countless international victories and inevitably BMW would evolve and expand again to create the BMW Motorsport division in the early 1970's. Fast forward to the year 2020 and you meet BMW's latest motorsport creation, the culmination of everything learned in motorsport racing history, enter, the BMW Motorsport M4 DTM Class 1, Prototype, race car! This BMW M4 DTM Class 1 Prototype, is a limited production, purpose built, non-street legal, off road, race track use only, factory BMW works vehicle!
